Situated in Southeast Ohio's Appalachian foothills, Shade Winery is actively reviving old traditions and striving to create new ones. Established in 2004, Shade Winery is dedicated to emphasizing local or organically grown ingredients whenever possible. We currently offer three wines and are developing others. In the future, look for meads produced with local honey and fruit and, of course, grape wines. Our first vineyard was planted in April 2006.
